~something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour
~a youth she's content to leave behind
~a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age
~a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra
~one friend who always makes her laugh...and one who lets her cry
~a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family
~eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored
~a feeling of control over her destiny...

Every Woman Should Know
~how to fall in love without losing herself
~how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship
~when to walk away
~that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents
~that her childhood may not have been perfect...but its over
~what she would and wouldn't do for love or more
~how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it
~whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally
~where to go... be it to her best friend's kitchen table... or a charming inn in the woods... when her soul needs soothing
~what she can and can't accomplish in a day... a month...and a year...

Rules Every Woman Should Follow...
~Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
~Marry a man you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
~Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
~When you say, "I love you", mean it.
~When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.
~Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
~Believe in love at first sight.
~Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
~Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
~In disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling.
~Don't judge people by their relatives.
~Talk slowly but think quickly.
~When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"
~Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
~Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
~When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
~Remember the three R's:Respect for self;Respect for others;Responsibility for all your actions.
~Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
~When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
~Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
~Spend some time alone.
~Learn the difference between when he says; I LOVE YOU to get into your bed, or I LOVE YOU to get into your life!
